One source for uniformly structured, manufacturer-verified BIM objects – built the way architects and engineers actually use BIM.

Construction is digitising faster than the tools around it. BIM mandates are expanding across Europe and Asia, generative and AI-assisted design need structured input, and clients increasingly expect a digital model of every product specified into a building.
There is no shortage of places to download BIM objects – it's whether those objects are actually usable. Tweak the length of a table and the whole geometry falls apart. Download a window family and watch the 50 MB file crash Revit on import. Generic libraries optimise for volume. bimroom optimises for what happens after the download. Every object is structured to a single internal standard, sized for performance, and tested before it ships.
For manufacturers, that means their product data has to live where designers actually work. Be accurate, current, and in the right format – or the risk specification going to a competitor who showed up first. For architects and engineers, it means the BIM content they download has to be trustworthy enough to drop straight into a project, without an hour of cleanup.
Most BIM libraries weren't built for either side. They host whatever manufacturers upload, in whatever format, at whatever quality. Bimroom is different by design: every object is structured to a single standard, verified against the manufacturer's source data, and delivered through a native Revit plug-in. One library. One quality bar. Two sides, both served.

The construction industry is currently facing a myriad of challenges, from outdated and cumbersome processes to the pressing need to reduce emissions.
While our services are already leading the charge towards a greener future for construction, we recognize that there’s still more work to be done. That’s why we are relentlessly pursuing innovative and comprehensive solutions to enhance sustainability in the sector.
We see ourselves at the forefront of revolutionizing the AEC industry, committed to building a future that is not only more efficient and convenient but also truly sustainable. With our tools and passion, we are ready to turn this vision into reality.

The bimroom plugin for Revit is Autodesk approved and available through the official Autodesk App Store.

Bimroom was started in 2021 by a small team working between Finland and Switzerland, with backgrounds in architecture, BIM management, business informatics, and platform engineering.
The team had spent years using the BIM libraries that exist today, and watching the same problems repeat: objects that didn't match the manufacturer's actual product, files that broke on import, libraries that charged manufacturers thousands and still delivered fragmented content. The bet behind bimroom is simple: a library built to a single structural standard (with a real plug-in and a fair price for manufacturers and users) is better than a larger library that is not.
Four years in, bimroom serves over 45 manufacturers across Europe and is an Autodesk Authorized Developer. Hosts over 3,000 vetted manufacturer objects and is growing their own generic object catalogue every day.

Join thousands of users and satisfied manufacturers. BIM has never felt this good.
Get your products into the libraries architects already use. List with bimroom and reach thousands of architects, designers, and engineers, without the legacy library price tag.
