Bimroom was started in 2021 by a small team working between Finland and Switzerland, with backgrounds in architecture, BIM management, business informatics, and platform engineering.
The team had spent years using the BIM libraries that exist today, and watching the same problems repeat: objects that didn't match the manufacturer's actual product, files that broke on import, libraries that charged manufacturers thousands and still delivered fragmented content.
