Ceiling swirl diffusers are particularly suitable for a mixed flow ventilation. Air flow is divided into several radial air flows, due to the air control blades, inducing a swirl motion, with very high induction effect, that cause a very rapid diminution of the air flow velocity and of temperature differential. Therefore they operate with high nominal air flow rates which permit up to 30 air change rates per hour, with supply air temperature differential of ± 10 K.
This specific type of air flow makes them advantageously suitable for variable volume systems within a supplying range of 30 to 100% of the nominal flow. For room heights ranging from 2,7 up to 4,2 m.
Air control blades are individually and manually adjustable allowing horizontal air flow with “ceiling effect”, unidirectional or bidirectional air flux with “ceiling effect” and vertical air flow when needed.
Squared diffuser face will best suit the architectural features of the room.
